Support the Cause and Make a Difference

There are several convenient ways to make your charitable donations

Cawayne Barton Foundation accepts several forms of donations, namely time, money, and items. Through the efforts of volunteers like yourself. We believe that volunteering is a worthy way to contribute to the community and can be just as valuable as cash donations. “Donate your time” to help out mentoring, lecturing, teaching, or community project saving the cost of work that helps the community. Register with the skills registry and share your talents with someone in need.

“Donate your supplies” we accept donated goods, including tools, clothes, shoes, furniture, and cars. If you have some stuff to get rid of, consider giving it to a good cause rather than throwing it out.

“Donate your money” cash donations are qualified as tax-deductible expenses that can reduce your taxable income and lower your tax bill.

Cash donations of less than $250, requires a canceled check or a receipt from the foundation, with the amount and the date of the contribution. However, contributions of more than $250 require written documentation from the foundation.

Choose from Individual, Group, Anonymous Donation or Corporate Sponsorship

Whether you’re an individual, a company, a group, or wants to remain anonymous there are plenty of ways to give your support throughout the year.

Consider the possibilities of changing someone else's life. What if you could work on a new purpose by contributing to others for a noble cause while attaining your personal goals? For the cost a meal you can donate and make a difference in someone else's life with a one time, monthly, yearly or periodic donations.

Other than the tax incentives, charitable donations offers a positive impact, mentally and physically while building a sense of pride in communities locally and as a global citizen.

Naturally human beings have an innate sense of giving to those close to us, we feel vested in our communities and in helping others out of a tight situation. The true meaning of life is not what you can do for yourself, but rather what you can do for others. You will have the chance of changing the lives while getting your name displayed on the thank you wall for generations to see.

The importance of giving back can never be understated and your contribution will go a long way in changing the lives of people who are not as fortunate and find themselves at disportionally disadvantage and disenfranchized citizens around the globe.

The foundation will work with communities around the globe in identifying projects to rebuild schools, creating information resources and skill training facilities to educate and empower the citizens within the region. We will use a combination of social media feedback, user communities and foundation board of directors in deciding which project to embark on. All details will be made available for the selected project and users will get to help in the decision making process, from the design selection to the layout of facilities and program offerings.

Cawayne Barton Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The federal tax identification number is 83-2105108.

Your tax benefits will depend on several factors, including the type of gift, whether it is outright or deferred, or has any income payments. Outright gifts generate a charitable deduction generally based on their fair market value, less the fair market value of any goods/services received (e.g., the value of a meal at a fundraising event.)
